Bombay Natural History Society

Description:

  • For over a century, the Bombay Natural History Society has been committed to conserving India's 'natural wealth'. India is blessed with diverse flora and fauna, from the power of the Bengal tiger to the tenacity of the Gir lions, and the grace of the Indian Bustard. The BNHS, as it is popularly called, has special programs and events that aim at involving people in the conservation efforts and make them aware of this wealth. The museum also has a stellar collection of thousands of specimens of rare fauna. See the website or call for more information.
