Especially on weekends, a carnival type atmosphere prevails with horse rides, dancing monkeys, food vendors and street entertainers. Make sure to taste the famous Pav Bhaji, which is a spicy curry of mixed vegetables and potatoes served with buttered bread and observe the thousands of Indian families making the most of the evening. The beach is lined up with luxury hotels and expensive apartments.
