• Held at Kala Ghoda, Mumbai's arts district, this annual cultural extravaganza brings together works of artistes in the field of music, dance, film and visual arts. For nine days, the entire area wears a festive atmosphere and is transformed into a pedestrian plaza. Walk past beautifully designed kiosks, get your portrait made by talented artists, watch a sculptor breathe life into clay, or attend one of the numerous book readings or talks on art and literature. You can also catch a play, watch a movie, enjoy a music concert or just take a heritage walk. Parks and historical buildings in the area become the venue for these events. You can also savor some local cuisine offered by the many food stalls that come up during this fest. A great venue to have fun!
