You can walk to just about anywhere in the old city from this hotel, and it is the best combination on luxury, location and price in Munich. The are a couple of more luxurious hotels...

stayed at kempinski last week,putting 6 strawberries and 2 biscuits in room does not make it a 5 star hotel for me.the room was to small and way over priced at 800e for 2 nights breakfast...
