User Review:
- It is no secret that Munich is the home of fabulous beer gardens and the requisite hearty food and drink. But often those central, more famous locales are a little pricey considering their quality and can be extremely busy. If you'd like a quieter option, check out Kaisergarten, located very near the Englisher Garten, a beautiful park. Kaisergarten is a service restaurant, so it is not "technically" a beer garden (where you can bring your own food), however that should be considered a plus. Their Bavarian food is hands down some of the best in the city, and will likely be suggested to you by locals. Just be sure to come on a nice day. While there is indoor seating, the real draw (besides the beer and food) is the wonderful outdoor area. Be ready to spend a long, lazy afternoon with friends in this establishment.
