- Mama's Kebaphaus is almost an institution in Altschwabing. This snack bar (with seating) is in the centre of the bar district and is a magnet for everyone who has been out for a couple of beers and needs something to fill the gap on the way home. However, this eatery is not just for night owls and you can choose between the daily special, and a delicious range of Turkish dishes. Nevertheless, it has to be said that the speciality of the house is the doner kebab. There is also a good choice of drinks ranging from long drinks, aperitifs, Sekt (German equivalent of champagne), liqueurs, wine, spirits and - let's not forget the staple refreshment in Munich - beer!
