Augustinerkeller

Description:

• The Augustiner Keller is one of the few proper traditional beer gardens left in Munich.  It is the 3rd largest beer garden in the world, but also has a large restaurant section that is open year round no matter what the weather.  The name of the restaurant derives from the "Keller" (cellar), and so if it's open, go downstairs and enjoy one of the most authentic beer hall experiences in town.  In summer, there is also a very large play area for children.  The beer runs at typical beer hall prices (€6.80 a liter) and the food is a reasonable as well (€10-€15).
