English Garden

Description:

  • The English Garden is just that: a garden in the English style.  English style meant that you simply put trails into the forest and did nothing else as far as landscaping. When it was designed in the 19th century, this was a new idea where as all of the older style gardens required manicured shrubbery and fountains to maintain.

The garden itself is enormous, but most people only use the very southern tip of it.  From river surfers to beer gardens as well as plenty of space for outdoor games such as soccer or ultimate Frisbee, this park has a lot to offer families and single travelers alike.  Its beer gardens are very popular especially the southernmost beer garden, the Chinese tower, giving people plenty of space for picnics.
