Hirschgarten

• The former royal hunting grounds of the Wittelsbach dynasty, this massive park area has good connections to S-bahns as well as trams so it is very easy to find. This park has fenced in deer next to the largest beer garden in the world, which goes by simply the same name as the park itself, the Hirschgarten. The beer garden is of course a traditional Bavarian restaurant which you can picnic at as long as you buy your drinks from the restaurant. There is seating for over 8,000 people and in the summer is a very popular area. It also includes a children's play area.
