Seehaus Restaurant - English Garden

Description:

• This is the only place in the city where you can rent paddle boats and go out on a lake.  The Seehaus is just north of the Chinese Tower beer garden and just as busy during the summer months.  Paddle boats can be rented by the hour from right next to the beer garden itself.  After a boat ride you can relax and have a meal at the Bavarian restaurant and beer garden.  The beer served here is Paulaner.  If Bavarian food and drink is not your thing, there are other options here including mediteranean specialties as well as a wine menu.
  
  To get there, take the U3 or U6  from the city center to Münchener Freiheit. Walk east on Feilizsch Strasse, into the park, and keep going till you see the lake.
