Description:
Just across from the Mississippi River, this lovely inn was once an 1893 window-shade and blind company. The individually, classically decorated rooms are furnished with lots of modern amenities, including plasma TVs, free Wi-Fi, and some Jacuzzis. The Nicollet Island Inn Restaurant is highly recommended (make a reservation), featuring contemporary American cuisine and a selection of over 350 wines; it also serves an excellent Sunday brunch ($30 adults, $12 children ages 6-12, free for children 5 and under).
