User Review:
- The Izaak Walton Inn is set in 8 acres of gardens, two kilometers from Embu town on the main Nairobi-Meru road. With a cool pleasant climate, Embu is the provincial headquarters of the Eastern Province. As there is not much to see or do here, not many travellers hang about. But if you do fancy stopping for a bite to eat or for the night, consider the Izaak Walton Inn. The Inn was originally a farmhouse and is named after a famous English angler because there is good fishing in the mountain streams nearby. The hotel has 42 basic double rooms each with private bath, a bar, lounge, dining room and function rooms.
