• this is the world famous castle build by the most enterprising lord macmillan .it stands in beautiful place just below where the buffaloes had been tamed in kilimambogo.he ensured the buffaloes are kept nearby for his hunting and natural setting in a view of both the eastern sunrise as well as the western sunset under the flat landscape setting on the side of the mountain kilimambogo.the mountain of the buffalo and hipppopotamus on the nearby River Athi.macmillan was the epitome of a serious colonial lord and master of the kenyan agricultural practices in sisal plantations in the entire colony since 1895 by lor macmillam
