Yes you can get 4x4 for mara/ serengeti for a reasonable prices depending with the type you want. A RAV4 goes for 6000 khs, 75 usd and a toyota landcruiser goes for 12000 khs 150 usd per day without fuel. You have to check the car before you leave otherwise you can end up in the bush with the car broken. Take care for the cheap ones.When do you want to go?.
