Hello David,
They do not charge according to nationality and payment depends on the accommodation type you want. They have Deluxe, Dormitory and the small tents pitched on the open ground camping.
It is better to contact them directly for payment as they are very fair on their pricing that is why many backpackers choose them.

Hi The Nairobi Back Packers do not charge according to Nationality, they have a standard rate for all. however due to various choices of accommodation, it would be a good idea to contact them so that you may book accordingly.

according to my knowledge and what i have seen is that there are different backpackers depending with the location an example there are :
a) nairobi-backpackers homestays-close to the -Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International airport (NBO). from our place it is about 10 km(not sure about the price)
b)milimani backpackers-just few meters from milimani hotel-a permanent tent with a double bed for a total of 1,000 KSh per night (USD 12.50).
Location
From city centre,up Kenyatta Ave, to the Pan Afric Hotel, then right fork to the Milimani road, then up to the junction, straight across on to dirt track. 50 metres on the right hand side. With taxi drivers the place next door is easily known "eagle appartments". Walking from city centre 15-20 mins, taxi 10 minutes.
i hope this will help you.
