The Best of NileGuide
- Beaches, sailing and water sports...this is what Nantucket is all about in the summertime. Pristine white sand beaches and a seemingly cool climate that makes where you came from feel like the 8th ring of hell +/- a few frying eggs. While not exactly a bustling metropolis, Nantucket is an island community that relies heavily on tourism in the summer months through their ma and pa stores and B&B's rather than hyper-commercialism and chain stores. Shopping Nantucket's many unique stores is a treat for some, but laying out on the beach may be invigorating for others. Nantucket also used to be the high class of the whaling industry and has left its mark on the island if you feel the curiosity of times long past creeping up on your historical soul.
