Description:

  • Hosted on the grounds of the Old Mill, this fair gives you a local feel for Nantucket life. It draws a crowd of about 400 and offers traditional crafts, games, face painting and pumpkin decorating. For adults, a tour of the Old Mill, built in 1746, is a big draw with, guides on hand to answer questions. Visitors will have the opportunity to see corn being ground by the oldest continually-operating mill in the country. Run by Nantucket Historical Association (NHA), refreshments are available and admission is free, but a suggested $5 family donation is appreciated.
