A French country restaurant and bar, Angele offers refined bistro fare on the downtown Napa riverfront. Located in a historic 1890 ship's chandlery now known as the Hatt Building, the dining room evokes the simple romance of a classic French brasserie. Outside, a terrace overlooks the Napa River, perfect for enjoying a relaxing lunch on a mild afternoon. The menu combines traditional French recipes with contemporary influences—look for simple seasonal salads and heartier dishes like bœuf Bourguignon, pancetta-wrapped Guinea hen, Carnaroli risotto, and roasted rabbit loin. Corkage fee $20; one corkage waived for each bottle purchased off the menu.

The food is fantastic...veal cheeks were delectable. Excellent wine list though the California wines were over priced. Look to the well selected French wine list for better wines...

The food, what there was of it, was fair and overpriced. The waiter was a bit snobbish as well. Don't think I would go back or recommend to anyone.
