  • There's no time to sit around in Naples. The fast pace and vibrant energy of city life will keep you on your toes! A walk through the Villa Comunale park or the pretty Capodimonte park is a great way to burn off those extra calories from that second Neapolitan pizza the night before while enjoying the sunshine.

Walking the chaotic streets of Naples can be an active adventure itself! Walk along the famous Spaccanapoli street through the historic center down Via Toledo to the large Piazza Plebiscito.

Climbing to the top of Mt. Vesuvius is certainly an active way to spend a day, and the views from the top overlooking the Bay of Naples are well worth the climb. Even a day of strolling the ancient streets of Pompeii, destroyed by Mt. Vesuvius in 79 AD, is a great way to spend an active day outside Naples.

Another fun and active day out is a visit to the Virgiliano Park at the top of the Posillipo hill. Enjoy the views and pretty park area before heading down to the Marechiare seaside area of Posillipo for a romantic seaside dinner.
