The third of three biggie hotels fronting the bay on Via Partenope, the Excelsior is owned by Starwood and has more moderate prices than its neighbors listed above. It has the same gorgeous views, of course, and five-star service, plus a splendid roof garden-terrace. The rooms are good size and tastefully decorated, with marble bathrooms and linen sheets, as well as all the amenities you expect at this level (and price); however, everything comes in a slightly smaller scale than at the Grand Hotel Vesuvio and the Santa Lucia.
