Description:
Mississippi Gulf Coast restaurateur John Chapman lost his 20-year-old restaurant, Chappy's, during Hurricane Katrina. Relocating to Nashville, he set up shop in this yellow brick corner building on Church Street in 2006. An old New Orleans vibe, with French streetlamps and stained glass, pervades the romantic, two-tiered restaurant and bar. Creole soups, seafood, grits, and bread pudding are among chef Chapman's signature dishes. Elevate your spirits with the Sunday-morning champagne brunch, which features live Southern gospel music.

Wonderful food, nice music on Sunday nights, fabulous seafood. The service was great. Portions ample, and desserts too drool over. Try the red velvet cake.
