Description:
Housed in a restored brick building amid the funky bars of lower Broadway, this classy restaurant is another favorite power-lunch spot and after-work hangout for the young executive set. The restaurant's first floor is a café and bar, while the upstairs is the more formal dining room. Dinner here might begin with lively tequila shrimp. From there, you could move on to beef tenderloin pan-seared with apples, Jack Daniel's, and maple syrup; or perhaps lamb chops with herbs, bourbon, and a cranberry demiglace. The Merchants also boasts an extensive wine list.
