- Sonobana Japanese Restaurant offers some of the most delicious sushi and Japanese cuisine in all of Nashville. The flavors are authentic, and the restaurant is lauded by Japanese nationals as the best in town. The sushi options are plentiful and popular, and the tempura entrées are simply delicious. The menu is designed with pictures of each dish to help the uneducated yet adventurous diner. The décor is primarily designed around Western-style seating, but Sonobana also has two tatami mat rooms with Japanese-style floor seating situated around a low table. Good food, good service, reasonable prices (for lunch) consistently over many years. Closed 2-5pm weekdays.

Went on a day where all rolls were half-price. That made them an excellent deal for average rolls. Inside is much nicer that you would think from the outside. Service was quick.

Traveling through Nashville. I have eaten at countless sushi restaurants including nobu in NYC which I consider the best so far. This restaurant is very casual friendly. Fish was fresh....
