Actor Ben Jones, who starred as Cooter in the late-1970s TV show The Dukes of Hazzard, owns this "good-ole-boys" hang-out, where you can buy Confederate flags and other Southern knick-knacks. A museum dedicated to the cult TV hit displays props, records, costumes, posters, and scripts related to the show and its stars. It's popular with tourists year-round, but especially each summer, when Nashville hosts the annual CMT DukesFest charity event at the Tennessee State Fairgrounds and the Music City Motorplex, featuring appearances by former cast members John Schneider, Catherine Bach, and others. In 2007 more than 60,000 fans attended DukesFest, which also includes stunt-car driving, wrestling, and live music. Allow 20 to 30 minutes to tour the museum and have your picture taken in front of the orange General Lee car out front.
