Description:

  • Hadley Park was built in honor of Nashville's African American citizens nearly a century ago. After World War I, a memorial was erected with the names of brave African-American soldiers who lost their lives in battle. Today the park remains open to the public with many memorials to citizens who have made an impact on the city. You will also find ample space to enjoy a game of football, a picnic lunch or an afternoon of kite flying. Baseball diamonds and softball fields are available for league play, and a large playground area with swings and slides provide endless entertainment for children.
