• One of the better dining destinations outside of the resorts, this bar and restaurant is situated in a stone house only a few blocks from the Caribbean Sea. The place gets most crowded at lunchtime when folks come in for a quick lunch and a beer. The bar is a central meeting place for many of Matthew Town's locals, so expect to hear a tale or two about work at Morton's Salt Company or the comings and goings of Andros denizens. American staples such as over sized burgers, fried chicken and fried seafood dishes share the menu with the Bahamian favorite of Cracked Conch. The bar serves beer, rum drinks and other liquors to wash down a filling meal.
