• Bamboo Shack is the place to get real Bahamian 'snacks' (fried chicken, cracked conch, or fish fingers with fries from a take away). Forget the Fish Fry at Arawak Cay which has gone down in quality in recent years. The crispy fried goodness is automatically doused with hot sauce and ketchup, and wrapped in a bag with a sweet bun so when you open it you get that perfect finger-licken effect. This place has fresh well seasoned crack conch, chicken, and grouper fingers snacks. Jerk chicken, hamburgers, conch burgers and fish burgers are also on offer. Switcher (Bahamian limeade) and baked goodies round out the menu, They also started serving breakfast this year, go get your fire engine (corn beef and grits), chicken souse, or boil fish.
