- This fort was built to defend the city of Nassau from invaders. It is shaped like an old steam wheel paddle and sits upon bennets hill next to the water tower and the Queen's Stair case. This attraction is free of charge and is easy to access. Taxi cab drivers will often include this attraction on an island tour.
