More than a thousand craftsmen located throughout the islands of the Bahamas, have their work displayed at the Plait Lady. If you want to see local artistry at its best, this is the place to go. In addition to straw bags, baskets, hats and mats, you can find other products made from clay and metal. Almost everything in the store is adorned with decorative straw work. This is a step up from the hectic Straw Market, but every bit as authentic to the Bahamas.
