My recommendation is:
St Francis Xavier Cathedral
Nassau / Paradise Island, Bahamas -DownTown

Sunday:8:30 a.m. & 11:00 a.m.
There are taxi cabs at the cruise port that can assist you in getting to the church and inform them that you would like a taxi cab back to the cruise port.

Hi, I agree with Keenya, St Francis Xavier Cathedral is nice. There is also a church called Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church on East Shirley Street which is only a few minutes away from Bay Street. Sunday Mass time: 8:30am-10:30am. You can make your way there with one of the friendly taxi drivers at the cruise port. Here's an online map you can print out http://www.bahamasypages.com/www/ads/btc/ba112635.gif | Hope this helps!

Hi traveler your in luck. The best and one of the most wonderful catholic churches is located in nearby downtown. St. Francis xavier cathedral is the oldest and most prestigious catholic church in the entire commonwealth of the bahamas, and its located within 10 minutes walking distance from the cruise port.
After you exit the ship make your way to main street, which is downtown. Follow the road west until you hit the hilton, then take a short 2 minute jaunt over the hill and your very first corner on the right will lead you to St. Francis Xavier. This catholic parish was established as the very first parish in the Bahamas in 1885 and today it still lives up to its heritage by providing timely and enriching services.
The church is always warm and inviting and always leave this wonderful edifice feeling enriched.
The sunday services are held at 8:30am and 11:00am.

Hope you enjoy your time in lovely Nassau.
