There are many things to do and see while you are vacationing in our little piece of Paradise. There is excellent snorkeling here in Nassau, swimming with the dolphins is awesome too. They have booze cruises (legal drinking age here is 18), and other water-sports like parasailing, banana-boat rides and jet skis that you may be interested in as well.
• My recommendations include:
Atlantis, Paradise Island. I don't know if you are interested in gambling at the casino, but the Salt Water Aquarium is 'out of this world'.
• The Fish Fry is located at Arawak Cay (pronounced KEY); where you can sample local cuisine -including conch (pronounce KONK), snapper and grouper.
• If you are interested in animals, you can swim with the dolphins at Dolphin Encounter, see our national bird - the flamingo Ardastra Gardens and Zoo, ride horses on the beach at Happy Trails Stables, or go bird watching at Harrold & Wilson Ponds
There are often other activities that vary by season. I've listed a couple websites that you may be interested in.

Tourist Maps are available at all ports of entry into the country, and at any of the locations listed.
I hope you enjoy your visit!

Hi!

You can find maps at the International Bazaar. This is at the back of Bay Street/ Main Street where the cruise ships are docked. A must visit? Well that depends on what you like.

If you like history and want to learn about The Bahamas from that point of view you can check out the Fort Charlotte, The Queen's Staircase, Fort FinCastle, Fort Montagu or The Cloisters.

If you are looking for fun.... You can go to Blue Lagoon. Here you can swim with the dolphins, seals and its a real good time. Or you can go to Atlantis (you need a pass for this if you're not staying at the hotel.)

If you want some good food and fun you can go to the Fish Fry. I promise you it's great.

I hope that helps you out a bit. Enjoy your visit.

Well, a must see we have so much to offer at different months but over on Paradise Island the Atlantis it self is a must see,and in Nassau you have things like the four forts that use to protect the island the queen staircase, and most of all the underwater adventures!!
