Description:
This is not only an underpublicized Gandhi-clan hangout, but it's also where our dearest Delhiite friends choose to take us when we're in town. It may not be the swishest eatery in town, but it's bright, comfortable, and reliable, and the seafood is always fresh. The biggest drawback here has to be deciding what to have; the menu is notoriously long-winded and draws such diverse inspiration that you'll be hard-pressed to order. Here's a suggestion: Start with the Fisherman's Basket (grilled baby octopus, prawns, and fish) and use the wine list to find out what Indian vintners are getting up to. Then choose from garlic-flavored grilled jumbo prawns, Singaporean chili crab, pepper-crusted Japanese bluefin tuna, Kerala-style fish curry, or even braised abalone. Besides a rather extensive (slightly befuddling) list of a la carte options (including some chicken dishes and vegetarian items), you can also choose from the seafood marketplace menu and then select how you'd like your crab, lobster, prawns, or fish prepared; the choices range from simply chargrilled with lemon butter to stir-fried with basil leaves and lemon grass.

Lovely open air roof top terrace. Great meat (and mash if you're missing Western food). Sold us beers to take home afterwards too!
