    • Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Civic Centre, MCD , Delhi is inaugrated by union minister of home Sh. P. Chidambaram on 22-04-2010 , on the Earth Day , situated on Vivekanand road (Minto road) , near Connaught Place. It cost 650 crore . It is the new landmark of Delhi as it is the talest building of Delhi now. It is 112m tall, also 50m taller than Qutab Minar . It has 28 storeys . Built on 11.54 acre area . It has art gallery , banquet hall and has four helipads at the top . From the top one can see New Delhi full of greenery on one side and Old Delhi full of buildings on the other side . One can see the panaromic view of spralling Delhi from top of this civic centre. Thus this is the new place to v isit in Delhi and in the heartr of the city.
