Description:

  • Built on a small hill, the ISKCON Temple is an imposing structure with an elaborate and complex design. The temple is dedicated to the Lord Krishna and was built by the Hare Rama Hare Krishna cult followers. A popular attraction of the temple are the Robots who enact and preach the Holy book Gita. The hall of the temple is centrally air-conditioned with a capacity to accommodate 1,500 people.The interior walls are decorated with works of Russian artists who have drawn different phases of the lives of the Gods. Special programs like kirtan, aarti, pravachan and prasadam are held every Sunday between noon-3pm.
