Description:

  • This garden was built by Qudsia Begum, the first mistress and then wife of Emperor Mohammad Shah (1719-1748). The greater part of the garden was destroyed to make way for Inter State Bus Terminal and the adjacent tourist camp site. What remains is quiet and rather beautiful. There is an attractive gateway and some pavilions in carved red sandstone. Many of the structures are now used by the Masonic Lodge.
