It also has open air Meghdoot Theatre where many cultural activites takes place from time to time. Sahitya Akademi was inaugurated by Maulana Azad & Dr. S. Radhakrishnan on 12th March 1954 & it publishes journals, individual creative works of every genre, anthologies, monographs, encyclopaedias, dictionaries, bibliographies & more... Website : www.sahitya-akademi.gov.in Lalit Kala Academy entails various activities related to the different visual arts forms like Paintings, Sculptures, Graphics, Photography, Ceramics. Regular exhibitions related to these art forms are organized every week. It is funded by Ministry of Tourism and Culture, Government of India.
