Description:
- This handicraft and handloom fair is held every February for about two weeks. Folk arts and crafts from all over India are showcased. The fair consists of 400 stalls and serves as a platform for weavers, sculptors, painters, potters and acts as a reviver of some of the dying art forms. The exhibitions, folk dances, traditional food stalls, silks, mirror work, cane ware and tribal crafts attract visitors in thousands everyday. This event is a hit with families as they usually make a picnic out of the whole affair - with the endless food stalls and cultural entertainment for the children.
