Teen Murti Bhavan

Description:

  • Originally known as Flagstaff house, this historic building was once the home of the Commander-in-Chief of the British Armed Forces. Once India gained its independence, it became the residence of the first Prime Minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru, who consequently named it Teen Murti Bhavan after the Teen Murti memorial statue. After Nehru's death, it was converted into a museum and library.
