Take a rickshaw from Connaught Place and explore Lutyen's Delhi, its government buildings and public places. This is now known as New Delhi and it was planned and designed by the British. Driving through the area will give you a sense of Delhi's British colonial past. After the exploration, head to Crafts Museum which is located in Pragati Maidan. The museum enables visitors to get acquainted with the art and craft of the different regions in the country.

Nearby the museum is the Sunder Nagar Market where you can have a look at antiques, silver jewelries, carpets and art that the market has to offer. There are also interesting tea shops like Regalia Tea House and Mittal Tea House.

RIckshaw???? Hello??? in New Delhi Rickshaws are not allowed.... and for a couple of days around Delhi British Delhi is not the place... I would personally recommend a few walks in Old Delhi streets and bylanes to discover the heart of the sity and taste the local street food and lots more..
