      • Walk through the lobby of the posh W Hotel in New Orlean's CBD and you'll find yourself headed for Whiskey Blue.  Bathed in glowing blue light, Whiskey Blue has a hip, L.A.-style vibe.  This is the place to go when you want to dress nice and enjoy a high-end cocktail.  The bar offers plenty of seating, or you can wander back through the lobby to the private room underneath the stairs for a more intimate setting.  On Saturday nights, a live DJ plays chill but danceable beats, but no matter what night of the week you go, the music will put you in the mood to relax and have fun.

  • Time to hang with locals. Chic bars and destination clubs have their place, but when you want to cozy up to the kick-back, more intimate side of New Orleans, make the off-the-beaten-path trek to these neighborhood bars and clubs. Drink what the locals drink, dance to the tunes they love, maybe make a few new friends. It’s gonna be a good night.
