CBD
The Central Business District, or the CBD as locals call it, is not just a bunch of tall office buildings. On the southern end of the CBD, the enormous Convention Center runs along the Mississippi River, and on the eastern side looms the fabulous Harrah's Casino. Throughout the CBD you'll find fantastic places to eat, from fine dining at Café Adelaide and Restaurant August, to sushi at Horinoya, as well as more casual stops like Mother's and Italian Pie. In the spring, hear free concerts every Wednesday evening in Lafayette Square, the second oldest park in New Orleans, located across from the historic old city hall. © NileGuide
