Lakeview: New Orleans

The Lakeview neighborhood in the northern part of the city has almost a beachy feel, and when you drive along Lakeshore Drive, you'll see why. Rows of palm trees line the shore of Lake Pontchartrain, and seagulls fly overhead. The paved path along the lake is perfect for walking or biking, and the Lakeview parks make great places for sunset picnics.
