Marigny
The Faubourg Marigny, or the Marigny for short, looks similar to the French Quarter but has a more laid-back feel. Full of historic, colorful homes and quaint coffee shops, this is a great place to go for a stroll during the day. At night, Frenchmen Street in the Marigny becomes a hub for live music and eccentric street performers. The bars, clubs, and restaurants on Frenchmen are popular with locals, as are other places in the Marigny such as Sukho Thai, Sound Café, and Port of Call.
