Neighborhood Description

Mid-City

Mid-City hosts Jazz Fest every spring at the Fairgrounds and the Voodoo Music Experience every fall in City Park, but even outside of festival times, Mid-City has lots to offer. At City Park you'll find the Botanical Gardens, Carousel Gardens amusement park, The New Orleans Museum of Art and Sculpture Garden as well as beautiful walking trails and some of the oldest, most spectacular live oaks trees in the country. Beautiful homes line Esplanade Avenue in Mid-City, and the neighborhood is full of great places to eat and drink, such as Lola's, Liuzza's, Café Degas, and The Bulldog. © NileGuide
