Ninth Ward: New Orleans

The Ninth Ward made headlines in 2005 when Hurricane Katrina and a levee breach flooded the historic neighborhood. Today, although signs of the devastation are still prevalent, the neighborhood is getting back on its feet and many residents have moved back and are at work restoring their homes.
