Boot (The)

• Another name for a comfortable hangout—The Boot. The decor is typically that of a pub—dark and woody coupled with a smoky atmosphere. The pub is frequented by the Tulane University students so the crowd is young, talkative and happening. Classic pub grub, burgers and lots of drinks which are easily affordable are the highlights of the menu. If the bar gets too crowded there is always an alternative to sit outside and enjoy the view. Pool tables, billiard and video games are additional features. A pizza shop and a small convenience store are available to grab a quick bite as well. All in all, a good hang-out if you're looking for cheap drinks and conversations.
