Description:

  • Located off Saint Charles near Carrollton Avenue this cafĂ© offers a menu that features a mixed bag of continental flavors from Tunisia, Greece, France and Turkey. Since 1994, Moncef Shaa and his wife, Jamila, the chef, have been adapting their Middle Eastern family recipes. The menu focuses on fried fish and lean meats, such as lamb, which come in a variety of ways including grilled, marinated kabobs, and lamb sausage appetizers. All entrees are accompanied by couscous as well as grilled vegetables. You may choose wine or beer from the bar to accompany your meal. Weekend entertainment includes a classical guitarist on Friday and a trio of belly dancers on Saturday. On a good-weather evening outdoor dining is available.
