• Louisianans who like Mexican fare love to see shrimp on the menu. "We sell a lot of shrimp," and, "They're really fresh." Most of the menu is geared toward American tastes, but there are interesting finds as well, like the chopped steak with onions, the spicy chipotle shrimp, or the grilled rib eye with mesquite spices.
  The most popular items on the menu are the chimichanga, a fried burrito stuffed with chicken or shrimp and garnished with rice, beans, and a guacamole salad; and steak, shrimp, chicken or veggie fajitas—the old standby for or shrimp Caesar salads. Low carb tortillas are coming this month. We are especially proud of the tortilla soup, a traditional soup of homemade chicken stock, garlic, spices, avocados and tortillas.
