St. Andrews - New York City

  • Description:

    • For more than forty years the Puerto Rican Traveling Theater has graced New York's world-renowned Broadway District with love for the arts and love for their Puerto Rican ancestry. The theater's primary goal is to produce plays, which entertain the public, while enlightening them on the contributions of Latino playwrights in American theater. Aside from performances, the PRTT also runs The Raul Julia Training Unit and The Playwrights Unit. Though the Playwrights Unit is exclusive and can only be attended by invitation, The Raul Julia Training Unit was designed to supply arts education to low income Latino Families in order to diversify the New York theater scene. If you are a layman on Latino Theater, head down to the Puerto Rican Traveling Theater Company and give your support to a time-tested New York institution.
