V Bar

Description:

• Situated on the corner of St. Mark's Place and First Avenue, V Bar is a pleasant place to while away the time while immersed in good conversation. The space is woodsy with exposed brick and big windows that allow ample space for people watching on the street. Mostly a sit down scene, V Bar is not a good place to get caught standing since the staff bustles about trying to efficiently cater to the patrons' needs. The food is Italian with an emphasis on Sardinian. The wine selection as expected is Italian and good. Cocktails and beers are limited, but smooth. Somewhat intimate, V Bar is good for a date or a night out with a couple of friends max. -Wynne Boelt
